Helmsley Village

A two-phase development, the first consisting of twenty-two units and the second of nineteen units, designed for a quiet cul-de-sac in Parklands.

Free-standing duplex units—each with private gardens, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a study nook—were grouped into larger blocks of three to five units.

The parking was centralized in internal courtyards, thereby restricting the amount of vehicular traffic among the units. A simple, stripped-down Cape Vernacular architectural theme was used.
